The food is great my usual is falafel, baba ganoush, rice pilaf. I also like the spice selection, pita and foul.
This place was amazing, The food was fantastic and lots of it, everything was cooked to perfection and the selection was crazy, I wanted to eat everything on the menu and will definitely try to do so. The staff was very friendly and it was an amazing experience
This place is superb. In addition to our chicken and lamb meals they gave us biriyani to try. The food is excellent, the staff are professional and friendly. It's good home cooked meals. Try this place.
A great low-key market that serves chicken over rice, falafel, and many other items and groceries from the Middle East. Located in Wilkes-Barre, this place may be easy to miss as it's within a residential neighborhood and an overall quiet environment. No bright lights or anything that screams "Eat here!" This is definitely one of those locations that you need to look for or be introduced to. Otherwise, it's easy to find using any GPS and there's plenty of street parking. Given this location is technically a deli, I've only ordered takeout. However, there is indoor seating (seems more for convenience rather than an actual dine-in experience). You won't get a restaurant experience but rather a fast-food eat-in experience if that makes sense. Regardless, the location is comfortable and clean. Similarly, the workers are friendly and welcoming and have never given me an issue. I've ordered the falafel and the chicken over rice (biryani and the other option I don't remember currently) and they've both been tasty. The biryani offers mainly boneless meat (though sometimes it depends on availability and you might have to ask for that option) and it's a huge meal. The meal is well seasoned and the aroma is encapsulating. The falafel is great though not the best I've had (on the drier side) but tasty nonetheless. Falafel can come with salad if you want or on its own, with the option of 6 or 12 falafel balls. The food is prepared relatively quick and I've never waited too long (about 20 min max when the falafel is being prepared). I haven't tried any other food options here. Aside from the food, I haven't tried anything else in the market, though it all looks good! They have plenty of groceries and ingredients for one to make your own dishes or to add some variety to what you're already used to. Overall, the food here is great if you're on the go, want something healthy, and/or are in the mood for some middle eastern food. The prices are great for what you get. I recommend take-out but dining-in is an option. Either way, give this place a try!
I've been going to this restaurant with the same owners and the same main chef for the past 17 years of my life. I don't remember even 1 time that this place has disappointed There are not many halal spots around here and this place absolutely goes above and beyond for all of the meals Whether it's traditional dishes such as Maqlooba, Lamb & Rice, etc or it's our favorites such as Cheesesteaks & sandwiches, this place doesn't disappoint Clean & tasty food, amazing establishment & some home shopping while you're at it. It is the closest thing to Paterson you will get (if you know you know)
